Who are we?

At the beginning of the thirteenth century DOMINIC DE GUZMAN, a Spanish priest, founded a religious Order expressly for the purpose of spreading the Good News. This Order came to be known as the Ordere of Preachers, and the members of this Order are known as "Dominicans."

How do we live?

We carry on a contemplative-active way of life, earnestly striving to seek the TRUTH through assiduous prayer, study and community life.

We profess the three religious vows of poverty, chastity and obedience.

We live fraternal life in community.

We have everything in common: prayer, work, possessions, apostolic ministry.
